Paul Citti

Experience the sound of the Theatre Pipe Organ

A native of Jersey City, N.J., Paul Citti enrolled in the Wurlitzer Music School in New York City at age 10, where he studied for about four years. He later earned six college credits in music theory. From then on he perfected his classical and popular piano and organ styles on his own. He both sight reads music and improvises, and is able to seamlessly modulate between musical keys (transpose).

Paul has served at various New Jersey churches as organist and choir director for 39 years. The last 15 have been at St. Aedan’s, the St. Peter’s University Church in Jersey City.

Additionally he plays piano for shows put on by various local civic groups. He works both as a solo performer and as a vocal accompanist.

He has been a member of the Lowe’s Jersey Wonder Morton crew since the year 2000, and staff organist there since the organ’s debut in October of 2008.
