Experience the sound of the Theatre Pipe Organ

A native of New York City, Bob began studying theatre organ at age fifteen. He is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where he majored in classical organ performance.

For the past 30 years, Bob has performed in concert at every major theatre pipe organ venue in New York City and New Jersey. He has entertained audiences at theatre organ concerts for the Garden State Theatre Organ Society, the New York Theatre Organ Society and the Connecticut Valley Theatre Organ Society.

He has played for numerous stage shows and special events, including The 27th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, The 25th Annual Clio Awards, The Iris Awards, The Warner Bros. Film Festival and Wheel of Fortune. Other credits include concerts by Frank Sinatra and the Count Basie Orchestra, Liberace, Peter Allen, Liza Minnelli, Sarah Vaughn, Bobby Short, Ben Vereen and Dionne Warwick.

Additionally, Bob was the organist at the United Palace Cathedral in Manhattan (formerly Loew’s 175th Street Theatre), one of the five “Loew’s Wonder Theatres”.

His most recent recording is “Opening Night”, recorded on the 4/23 Robert Morton Theatre Organ at the Landmark Loew’s Jersey Theatre. (Click Here to Order).  Other recordings include the holiday CD “A New York Christmas”, recorded on the 4/26 Mighty Wurlitzer at Long Island University, (formerly the Brooklyn Paramount Theatre).

Bob is currently the Director of Music and Organist at St. Stephen’s Church in Kearny, N.J., a position he has held since 1984. He is also a staff organist at the Landmark Loew’s Jersey Theatre.
